Small and daily discomforts of the baby

All newborns suffer from small and daily discomforts that cause the baby to feel upset. Although there is no reason to be alarmed, with the necessary care and attention we can overcome these small problems so that our baby feels better.

Some babies suffer from the so-called labial blister, it is a small blister that is located in the middle part of the upper lip and is related to breastfeeding, and although it is frequent, it does not need special care, since it is not painful nor is it serious for the child. baby.

We continue with the mouth, the baby can also suffer an infection called Muguet, produced by a fungus and that we can detect by the appearance of spots in the mouth and that are located on the inner face of the cheeks. Generally, these spots appear due to poor hygiene in the bottles and pacifiers, which means that we must sterilize them. In addition, we must go to the pediatrician for special treatment. Another common issue in newborns is sneezing, being so sensitive to sudden changes in temperature, it is normal for them to sneeze several times a day even if they are not cold. We must ensure that the environment is not extremely cold or hot for the baby, although it can also make you sneeze a strange smell, deposit a cold garment on it, etc. There is no need to worry, this is normal and in a few months the sneezes will cease.

Another common theme is involuntary scratches, babies scratch frequently and unintentionally, small scratches are made on the skin. It is something difficult to avoid, as it is the lack of coordination of the movements of the arms and hands that propitiate it. The best way to avoid these scratches is to cut their nails frequently to avoid these scratches as much as possible.

If you have already suffered a scratch, we should always try not to touch the areas where the wound is so that it does not get infected, a solution would be to put some soft mittens so that it is protected.

Something very common is regurgitation, although they seem to be really vomiting, the baby expels some milk by the corner of the lips while the air expires and is usually caused by a copious feeding. It is also possible that it is a consequence of a transient physiological incompetence of the cardias (where the esophagus and stomach are communicated).

It is best not to force the baby to eat more than you want and always keep it upright during the shot, once it is finished, we must help you expel the air. A baby requires a lot of care and attention, it is an arduous and rewarding task that makes us grow as parents.
