One of the worst things that can happen to a child is lose your favorite stuffed animal, and it can be even worse if when you lose it it is on a trip, when it is impossible to recover it. Imagine the disgust of traveling with him, taking him with you even to a distant place, and leave knowing that it is left behind, entering home, your room and your bed, without him. Well, two or three months ago it happened again, a girl named Mariona left her doll, named Mic, in a Paris car. The curious thing about this story is that it does not talk about the family of the girl looking for the stuffed animal, but about the family that has it right now in her possession, which has decided open a Facebook group to try to locate the girl and send him his favorite stuffed animal.
The importance of Mic for Mariona
Mic is a character from a well-known series in Catalonia, so much so that many children have it (my children, without going any further, have one). For us it's just a stuffed animal, one of many, because there must be thousands everywhere.
But for Mariona that era his mic, her teddy, and the love she had for him should be enormous if when they traveled to Paris he decided to take it with him in his suitcase. With how difficult it is to close your bags when you travel, you end up leaving things and you take only the essentials, and the stuffed animal also traveled.
Mic stayed in Paris
The problem is that there in Paris he stayed in a car. It was probably carried by the girl in her arms and when she got out of the car, perhaps in the rush of having to take a train or a plane, stayed in the back seat. The driver who found him did not know what to do with him, but he did know what not to do, throw it away. It was a girl's stuffed animal and she couldn't do such a thing, so she put it in the trunk.
And there he stayed until a few days ago another family, with a Mic, got into the same car. The driver saw the doll and, surprised to see one like the one who had been accompanying him on each trip for weeks, he told that family the story, that he had one for a long time and did not know what to do with it, and in the end he handed it over.
Where are you, Mariona?
Through this family Mic has returned to Catalonia and to find the girl they have decided to make use of social networks, those that have so much expansion power, in case the miracle works.
The only data they have is their name, so 3 days ago they created a Facebook community called "Mariona, hem trobat el teu Mic" (Mariona, we found your Mic) and the story has moved so many people who are already more than 4,000 the people who have joined the cause and are sharing it in case it finally reaches the eyes of Mariona's parents.
Yes it's correct. At this point Mariona sure already has another Mic, but this is the same as always, the original, the one that has spent more time with her and the one that, surely, is looking forward to reuniting with her child.
