There are many children who have fallen in love with the dance that has become fashionable thanks to the Academy of Operation Triumph, the Batuka. Fortunately for the little ones, residents in Las Rozas (Madrid) or nearby, can enjoy dancing to the rhythm of Batuka, because the Babalú Leisure Center has started Weekend classes for children between 3 and 12 years old.
This "gymnastic dance" (similar to aerobics) uses very catchy and rhythmic musical themes such as merengue, Latin pop, salsa, cumbia, reggaeton, etc. Classes are one hour long and the price per class is 5 euros, although you can also buy 10 class bonuses for 35 euros. Knowing that little fans do not know the Batuka, a center room has been set up to view the official DVDs of this dance style, where children will become familiar. The specialized monitor will start teaching you warm-up exercises, then you will begin to learn some basic movements by doing repetitions and then put them into practice.
Finally, all the children will be able to go out on the dance floor and show their rhythm and their skills to dance the Batuka, surely the best thing will be to see the parents' faces falling off the drool.
It is a good initiative for children to play sports in a fun way, while collaborating in their psychomotor development. If you want to take your child, you should only go with sports clothes on Saturdays or Sundays at 12:30 pm.
