We have just met a new plan in which the Basque Government intends that all children can study until they complete their training, that is, from 3 to 18 years old (children, primary, ESO and high school) in one and only center. It is an idea that aims to prevent children from having to go through different schools changing every time they finish a school stage.
This is the proposal put forward by the Basque executive, but for this a strong investment will be necessary to build and remodel many schools so that they can accommodate all educational cycles. Providing the child with a school place near home and that it can be extended during all the stages through which compulsory education takes place will benefit students and the family in general, time, transportation, etc., will no longer be an inconvenience.
It has also been taken into account that it could be the case that a student had to travel to access another study center due to lack of places, in this case transfers will be free. In addition, going further, the inclusion of nurseries in these centers is expected.
It is considered that there would be many benefits, both for children and their parents, to study until finishing high school in the same school, do you think the same?
