Laura Gutman, the Argentine psychopegadoga expert in childhood, families and female piscology in the puerperium, and who we have already presented in a previous post, will teach two courses this month in Barcelona:
Motherhood as a Life Crisis: February 22, 23 and 24, 2008 Case Supervision: February 25, 2008
The courses are aimed at: all those interested in reflect on themselves and on the bond with children, both from the point of personal view as a professional. For doctors, doulas, midwives, teachers, therapists, parents, etc.
On its website you have the program in detail but I advance some of the interesting topics that will be worked on:
- The phenomenon of emotional fusion in the dyad "mamabebé”.
- The puerperium as an altered state of consciousness. Appearance of the inner mother.
- Experiences of the male and the family environment. Father's role as an emotional holder.
- Women's networks The doulas
- What is violence? Lack of maternal and violent dynamics.
- The disability of adults in the upbringing of children. Early sphincter control, early separations, "go to sleep kid", etc.
Several of my friends attended this course two years ago, they have recommended it effusively but also warning me that, both Laura Gutman and her teachings, do not leave you indifferent but force you to reflect on your upbringing and produce you a powerful impact on a personal level.
This time I cannot attend but next time, I will think about it. For now, I will go deeper into his books and I will comment on what I learn and what I wonder about myself and motherhood.
