PujTub: ergonomic bathtub for the washbasin

When the baby is born we ask ourselves what kind of bathtub we will need to bathe it, which one is the most practical, which one occupies less space, etc.

In my experience, the answer is depends. It depends on the place you have at home, in the bathroom, how much you intend to spend and of course the baby's age.

Because they are so small, many parents choose to bathe the newborn in the sink during the first few days. To facilitate the task there is PujTub, a new ergonomic bathtub that is placed in the sink to bathe the baby.

As we can see in the video, it can be assembled with just one hand while in the other we hold the baby, it is very easily cleaned and stored flat by hanging it from a hook. In addition, it leaves us both hands free to clean the baby, prevents us from crouching in the bathtub and saves water since we do not have to fill the large bathtub.

Those are all advantages, but what scares me about this system, just as it gave me when I bathed my daughters in the sink, is the proximity of the tap. Extreme care must be taken on the one hand so that the baby does not hit the tap and on the other, that in an oversight the tap can be opened and the baby burned.

In addition, it looks very beautiful but does not have too much shelf life since babies grow very fast and then we pass them to the large bathtub, where for me the most advisable are adapters that are very similar to this but with a base that adheres with suction cups on the floor of the bathtub.
