Spend a "Night at the Museum" in Valencia

Maybe you remember a fun movie starring Ben Stiller and already has two installments, "Night at the Museum." In them, the protagonist stays overnight in the museum and discovers that there is a whole parallel world of life inside. I don't think a similar surprise is the children here, but it can be very interesting spend a "Night at the museum" of the City of Arts and Sciences of Valencia.

In the movie, dinosaurs, miniature dolls, stuffed animals ... and all of the above comes alive at night, when the museum closes its doors to the public. Starting on November 21, children can dress up as superheroes and sleep on a "Night at the museum."

With this promotion, the City of Arts and Sciences of Valencia wants to entertain children while instilling interest in science, making learning a different and very attractive experience.

The "Night at the Museum" initiative is intended for children between 9 and 12 years old or from 4 years if accompanied by an adult. It will be held every Thursday and Saturday, except during the school holiday period, at a price of 65 euros per child

The night begins with a dinner in the cafeteria of the complex, followed by a painting workshop and then visit an exhibition dedicated to the superheroes of Marvel comics, dressed as Spiderman, Hulk or Storm.

'The science of superheroes' exposes interactive modules for children to discover the science behind the super powers, explaining in a scientific way the transformation of La Masa or the sensory capabilities of Daredevil. Afterwards, the children will throw themselves in search of a treasure in a "giant chromosome forest" of the museum, before sleeping in a tent planted in the area of the exhibition of superheroes.

It is certainly an original proposal, and it is not the first one with which the City of Arts and Sciences wants to win over the little ones. Hopefully this cultural space continues to focus on what will be the future of museums, and offer other initiatives as original and interesting as this "Night at the Museum".
